About Teko

Teko is a seasoned freelance graphic designer with 15+ years of branding and marketing design experience ranging from start-ups to large companies and spanning a range of industries and projects including logo design, apparel graphics, and marketing graphics.
Teko is an expert at working with Food & Ag businesses, apparel brands, athletic organizations, and sports events to develop impactful branding and marketing solutions that reinforce and enhance brand prestige, increase product sales and promote company growth and profitability. Aside from graphic design, Teko has also created, developed, and written three children's books. His titles include "The Hoop Kid from Elmdale Park"," Elite Squad" and "Bernard Jones Is Going Places". He writes middle-grade sports-fiction, magical-realism, and action-adventure chapter books that deal with themes of teamwork, courage, imagination, and responsibility. Before becoming a freelance designer and children's book author, Teko spent 10+ years as a graphic designer for a notable sports event marketing company. He was responsible for the creative design on a range of projects including logo design, apparel graphics, website graphics, and marketing graphics for a wide range of brands and sports events including ESPN, X-Games, and several College Bowl Games. When Teko's not designing or writing he enjoys being outdoors with nature, hiking/biking local trails, listening to music, book shopping, watching movies, and reading. |
